A wonderful and relaxing setting with comfortable chalets and friendly service. We first stayed there in the late 90's when we lived in Wellington and it was somewhere very special. We returned in January 2010 and it is still a magical setting. A great place to relax and explore the Abel Tasman. We look forward to our next stay.

We had a nice stay at this lodge while we visited the Abel Tasman park. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly and able to make recommendations on park visits, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much. A wonderful place!

We were very happy to stay at Ocean View Chalets where we appreciated a heary welcome, every comfort, quietness and the beautiful view. We only regretted not to be able to stay longe.

This was a wondeful place to stay. The chalets were all nestled amongst native trees and plants and had lovely views. The staff were all really friendly and the kids loved visiting the chickens and eating the nashi pears off the trees. My husband really appreciated the coffee he was offered when he was working in the dining room and also the free internet access. Atogether a really great stay and relaly great people. We also appreciated the efforts to recycle and compost.

Very friendly staff, well equipped room at a great price. We loved AT national park and our stay at the Ocean View Chalets was very enjoyable. Would stay there again if lucky enough to make it back to NZ!

Ideal rustic cabins close to Abel Tasman. Great NZ welcome from staff and advice on local tours was spot on. Very enjoyable breakfast at reasonable rate.
